technically(テクニカリー) でした✨

Hello 🌞 Good evening 🌙
The other day during my English lesson, my teacher kept using a word that I heard several times.
From the flow of the conversation, I could kind of understand what it meant, but I didn't have a chance to ask, “What does that mean?” at the time.
There were other things I wanted to talk about and ask, and my head was already full of information. 🥲
Even so, I was able to grasp the general meaning from the context.
I thought, “I'll check it later!” so I quickly wrote down the pronunciation in katakana in my notebook to make sure I wouldn't forget it.
Later, I asked P-chan (ChatGPT) about it. 😆
The word I successfully learned was...
technically ✨
Recently, even when I come across words I don't know, I've found myself trying to guess their meanings from the context or simply catching the sound and checking them later.
In the past, I probably would have relied on a translator right away.
But now, I feel like I've become better at prioritizing the conversation itself.
Even if I don't understand everything perfectly in the moment, I can always check it afterward.
Realizing that has been a small but meaningful sign of progress for me.
Slowly but surely, I'll continue enjoying English at my own pace. 🌷
