日本語の文法用語に混乱😵‍💫

昨日は久しぶりに英会話スクールに行ってきました😊

実は、以前教えてもらっていた先生が引っ越しのため辞めてしまって…

それから新しい先生探しにけっこう苦労したんです😭

1回目で「うーん、なんか違うかも？」と思う先生もいれば、

2回目で「やっぱり合わないな〜…」

と感じることも。

でもついに！やっと！

「この先生だ」って思える先生と出会えました😆💗

その先生のレッスンを久しぶりに取ったら、

「久しぶりだね〜！」「最近全然見かけなかったよ！」って

声をかけてくれて、なんだかほっこり

嬉しくなっちゃいました🫶🤍

今日はタイトルの通りなんですが（笑）

文法用語が日本語で出てくると、

途端に意味が分からなくなって拒否反応が

出ちゃうタイプです🤣

学生の頃、それがきっかけで英語が苦手になったと言っても過言じゃないかも…（笑）

でも今は、文法も“英語で覚える”ようにしたことで、不思議とスーッと頭に入ってくるし、なにより楽しく続けられています❣️

Hello there! 🌞 Good evening! 🌙

Yesterday, I went back to my English conversation school for the first time in a while 😊

The teacher I used to learn from had to quit because they moved away...

So after that, I had quite a hard time finding a new teacher 😭

Some teachers felt like “Hmm, something's off...” from the first lesson,

and with others, I thought “Yeah… we’re probably not a good match” by the second.

But finally—finally!!—I found a teacher who felt just right for me! 😆💗

When I took that teacher’s lesson again after a long time,

they said, “Long time no see!” and “I haven’t seen you in a while!”

That made me feel so warm and happy inside 🫶🤍

So… as the title says (lol),

I tend to *completely* shut down when grammar terms are explained in Japanese 🤣

To be honest, that’s probably one of the big reasons I didn’t enjoy English back in school… (haha)

But now, since I’ve started learning grammar *in English*,

it’s strangely been much easier to understand—and more than anything, I’m actually enjoying it ❣️
